About the Journal: Aims and Scope

Introduction

ANVESHAN Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research, criticism, and innovation across the disciplines of humanities, social sciences, and history. Committed to academic rigor, ANVESHAN provides a dynamic platform for scholars to explore intersections between traditional knowledge systems and contemporary global discourses.

History

The journal was established in 2026 by Dr. Sandeep Meshram under the aegis of Classic Indic Press, with the vision of promoting interdisciplinary research in history, culture, and the human condition. The name ‘ANVESHAN’ (अन्वेषण) is derived from ancient Sanskrit terminology, signifying ‘deep exploration’, ‘discovery’, and ‘investigation’. The journal is inspired by this etymology and operates on the principle that rigorous historical and cultural research is essential for a holistic understanding of our world. For over 16 years, it has been a pioneering platform for the exploration and dissemination of scholarly work that transcends traditional academic boundaries. ANVESHAN is committed to fostering a dialogue that enriches our understanding of the human experience through a multifaceted lens, integrating insights from literature, philosophy, history, arts, and social sciences.
